Currently, Instagram does not directly show you a list of specific users who have shared your feed post via Direct Message or to other platforms.
What You Can See:
- Reshares to Stories (Public Accounts): If someone with a public account reshares your feed post to their Story, and they tag you, you will receive a notification and can see their Story. If they don't tag you, you won't be notified directly, but if you happen to view their Story, you might see your post.
- Post Insights (Business/Creator Accounts): If you have a Business or Creator account, you can access Post Insights. This will show you the number of times your post has been shared, but not the specific individuals who shared it. This count includes shares to Stories and shares via Direct Message.
What You Cannot See:
- Specific users who shared via Direct Message: Instagram prioritizes user privacy for DMs. You will only know if someone shares your post via DM if they tell you or if the recipient tells you.
- Specific users who shared to external platforms: If someone copies the link to your post and shares it on WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, or other platforms, Instagram does not track or show you who did this.
In summary: While you can see the count of shares (with a professional account) and sometimes see reshares to public Stories if you're tagged, you cannot get a definitive list of every individual who has shared your Instagram post, especially via DMs or to other platforms.
